Greed and Darkness

“He wants us to build him what?” The small, twisted figure yells at his subordinate in the poorly lit room. “Impossible.”
But then after an intense, whispered conversation; “He wants to pay me how much?!”
There is silence and then, “We’ll try. Take his gold and set to work. I suppose if we apply ourselves; it’s possible.”
The subordinate scurries off into the darkness and starts his macabre experiments.
Life is pretty cheap to these people.

errm ... what is this post about???

Is it significant? Or is it just insane rantings of a mad-man?

I made three seemingly random posts about three separate characters.
The adventure's title is:
The ID, The EGO and The SUPER-EGO.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to discover which title refers to whom.
(Although, I admit my knowledge of psychology is appalling.)
So to answer your original question...
BOTH!

Bah...freudian speculations have no place in the illustrious science of psychology! Unless of course, they are the insane rantings of a madman designed to mirror the insane rantings of a certain bearded austrian who based most of his speculations on patients he never met, and whose theories failed to actually help a single patient he came into contact with.

Obviously missing games do nothing for my mood.
