I'm already wearing the Studded leather +1!
The Pearl of Power should go to Bodush.
The Oil of the Shillelagh should go to Wer.
The Mace +1 should go to Eolar.
The Cloak of Resistance should go to Telfis.
The +2 Light Steel Shield should go to Kruddo.
The Scrolls Remove Disease should go to Eolar.
The Scroll Searing Light should go to Eolar.
The Wand Enlarge Person should go to Bodush.
Money should be divided equally.

Actually, Bodush can't use the pearl of power, so perhaps Eolar should have it.

You're only half a level away from being able to use it. Surely it'll be worth the wait?

It is not a question of level - you have to be able to prepare spells to use it. Sorcerers have a natural spell ability.
It is my mistake, this was a magic item designed for Bodush - but when I read the details I found Sorcerers cant use it. Stupid class.

How do we devide the money, by day or for the full adventure (as Bodush was only there the second time)?
If we do it by day:
Mendez, Eolar, Telfis, Kruddo, Wer: 1370.67gp
Bodush: 666.67

For the whole adventure:
All: 1253.34

I would go with the second one, as the whole thing was one adventure. But the last one we divided by day....

I included only the scabbard in the money (together with all gems and stuff) as I think nobody wants it?
As it's getting more and more difficult to calculate the price of items, I think we should just argue about who is getting which item and divide all the money as Mendez suggested.

I agree with Mendez' list. The Pearl can go to Eolar (who already has the mace) or to Wer (who can use it as a druid). Both, Eolar and Wer can already cast 2nd level.
Eolar can cast 2x heal moderate wounds per day then, but Wer only got the oil so far. So if nobody else has an idea, Wer and I will argue about it :)

Not sure about the cloak. Can't remember if Telfis wanted it at all (wasn't there a discussion about wearing cloaks?). As far as I remember Kruddo wanted to take it.

Another question to the DM is: Where are we right now? Do we have the possibility to buy items? Are we in a settlement or have we found a traveling salesmen? Eolar would like to meet at least a bow maker who can make +2 composite longbows ;-)

'Bodush gets 666 gold'?
Perfect!
:)
I don't mind him getting full share especially as he seems to be down on magic.

The adventurers CANT buy new equipment. The next adventure starts at the camp by the ex-temple (smoldering hole).

i think one of the dwarves wanted the cloak of resistance. telfis doesn't really want to wear a stupid cloak. however, since i decided to possibly annoy the powergaming section by taking a level of bard next.... a bard could get away wearing a cloak.
if one of the studded leather things is unwanted, i'd take it!

I hope that we walk through a settlement soon, as all the gold is quite heavy :-D

Btw: Great banner again! I like dwarves on rage!

Its not so much that Sorcerer's can't use it, as that it is more or less useless to them, since they do not prepare specific spells, and so the Pearl would effectively only be an extra spell slot for them.

Damn! I was going to be a bard! Also, I would like to set up a "pearl budget" for Identify pearls. They are quite pricey, you know...

RoboGeek said...

You know, if no one wants the cloak, just give it to Thesis when you see him - he could do with a boost on saving throws. Remember how he got on with the Illusionist gnome and the Colour Spray ...
;)

Joebroesel said...

The first thing Thesis needs is aiming skills :-D Of course he needs saving throws if he is only dancing around the opponents with his halberd.....
The "Identifying Pearl Trust" is a good idea! At least we know then what we find....

RoboGeek said...

You will see a completely revamped Thesis next time out. No more halberd, no more swiping at feet, no more Mr Nice Guy ...

Hedzor said...

Thesis has been allowed to revise his attributes/skills/feats etc. as he has only adventured once.
(Despite now being 4th level!)
See: Do-overs.
If anyone else wants to revise their characters; speak to Assif for approval.
This is the last time this offer will be made.

What can be changed at a perfect cleric?? Everything that is missing I compensate for by faith :-D

My only concern regarding Eolar is the choice of Ranger as his second class.
Your choice of course, but wouldn't Fighter have been more expedient?
More Hit points and more feats.
Plus no limits on your armour.

Joebroesel said...

Ah, but I don't make these decisions solely with the abilities and game advantages in mind. Character comes first! :) And Ranger was the class that gave me more abilities and fit well with my story (grew up in a wood, lived and survived there alone for many years, and so on..). I'm not a fighter type of person and I don't want to wear more amour, I'm a cleric for god's sake ;-) My faith is protection enough.....

Fair enough.
Fighter and Barbarian levels for Mendez next.
Despite my intentions, I find myself the best front-line fighter we have.
(Discounting Thesis, whom I'll never adventure with.)
Thank Goodness for Phillipe and Josh's Dwarves!
