Trust me, we definitely appreciate that aspect of them. Hell, I still love giving Dag hell for unprovokedly murdering orc women and orc children to this day!TieDyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01986869699796314972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808106293896831146.post-8231147080879395102009-05-15T17:12:00.000+01:002009-05-15T17:12:00.000+01:00I think you're all being a bit unfair.
Admittedly ...I think you're all being a bit unfair.
Admittedly our game is mostly about hitting things, but we have touched on politics (thanks to Moritz) and morality (because I find it funny).
All of our characters have a distinct personality.
Even Thesis!
The only character played that lacked any sense of self was Philippes: Kruddo. That said, the only game where 'roleplaying' and narrative were of some importance was Conspiracy X (think X-Files) - but even then, it was mostly skill rolling and running away from aliens!Charlie Stiltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00517509087736528221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808106293896831146.post-2296877050438098262009-05-15T15:51:00.000+01:002009-05-15T15:51:00.000+01:00The first RPGs I'd played were on video game conso...The first RPGs I'd played were on video game consoles, so my understanding of "role playing" originally was that I got to control an anime character who used magic and hacked up a whole lot of evil/non-human creatures. Naturally, finding out that people do actually role-play/act with these things is a bit new to me. This is probably why I haven't been "role-playing" much at all. I mean, I'll try not to use out-of-character knowledge when Durin makes decisions, but aside from his use of intimidation, the reasoning behind Durin's decisions is pretty much my own.TieDyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01986869699796314972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808106293896831146.post-4632076271382475012009-05-15T15:22:00.000+01:002009-05-15T15:22:00.000+01:00Hehe, I like small too and am gonna stick to it.
